Oganiru Cultural Association, Inc  is a dynamic association of the Igbos of Nigeria in the Triad area of North Carolina. Oganiru’s vision and commitment is to create awareness of cultural diversity in ways that simply connects us to the people, information, and things we care about the most, enabling us liberation, to grow in unity and progress. Each member has responsibilities, makes contributions, and helps Oganiru thrive. Everyone’s growth is essential to our success.

Oganiru will vigorously pursue and support programs that enhance intellectual, cultural, and the socio-economic well-being of members. Members have a passion to assist other members in ways that make their lives more exciting and more complete. We value respect for one other and cherish one another’s progress. It is our responsibility to inspire all our friends and well wishers by being an organization other similar organizations can talk about and emulate. We draw on our cultural heritage to entertain and excite those who are interested in us or share our values.

We create awareness about Oganiru through live shows and media outreach.
